First of all, thank you for taking time to visit my website and view my photos.

On this website, you will find what I call "Shots & Captures". There are some photographs I hunted down, which took time to finally get them. But there are also some snapshots I thought are worth to share.

​

When talking to other people about photography, I often hear this sentence:  "Everyone has got a camera these days. Nowadays, everyone can take pictures.."

​

Well, I suppose that is true. However, I am not everyone. I am me.  And believe me - that is enough work ;)

​

So what I am trying to do is always capturing my personal view and perspective on the world and life.

​

Photography brings you to the maddest places at the maddest times. It makes you living and feeling every single moment and gets you seeing the beauty in everything. Almost like looking trough children's eye.

​

So it is a fantastic possibility to share the moments I experience, in a way that transfers what I have seen and felt at the very moment. That is what I am always trying to achieve.

​

And there is also the technical aspect of the photography: From the decision what lens and whether you choose to use any filters or not. And then, of course, there are the camera settings. The photo is always the result of multiple decisions you have made.

So, all those things are not only fun but also an excellent way to express myself.
